The program includes short-term therapy with skills teaching for patients, and consulting with their long-term therapist, psychiatric, primary care, dentistry, and women’s health clinicians.

  • Brief Interventions

    Relaxation techniques with scientific education about the stress response and relaxation response in the central nervous system teaches autonomous self-soothing.
    Cognitive Behavior Therapy adapts repetitive thought patterns and changes neural pathways.
    Motivational Interviewing helps explore barriers to treatment and decision making.
    Solution Focused Brief Therapy helps build empowerment and strengthen internal and external resources to meet health goals.
    Mindfulness Theory and Practice helps build a sense of belonging and well-being.
    Health coaching helps foster regular practices for sleeping, eating, exercise, working, care-taking, service, creativity, spirituality, and play.

  • Time Bound Goals

    Short term therapy allows clients to complete meaningful work that is relevant to their current lifestyle while making positive change to meet their health goals.

    Interventions are delivered in a short time frame, and traditional talk therapy can be referred.

    Clients’ unique strengths, cultural beliefs and practices, and healthy coping styles are enhanced and valued.

THREE MONTH PROGRAM
for clinicians and their patients/clients

Three consultation calls with Kelly over three months

1) Consultation at the assessment phase about your requests and the patient’s scores and responses to screeners such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7.

2) Consultation at the treatment phase with update on the patient’s response to brief intervention therapy in weekly one-hour visits.

3) Consultation at the graduation phase with an update on the patient’s graduation plan and referrals to ongoing services.

Kelly Kirkbride, LMHC, RN, LCMHC, LCPC

Kelly grew up on Cape Cod and is honored to serve the community as a therapist and nurse. She graduated from Cape Cod Community College in 2020 with an associates degree in Nursing. She combines nursing theory with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She has worked at two community health centers where she practiced Integrated Behavioral Health. She is working to serve the community with high quality therapy.
